Having just returned from a package holiday tour to Grenada, I would like to say how happy I was with the accommodation we stayed in, particularly the Flamboyant Hotel.

The hotel is located on Grand Anse Beach which is by far the most stunning on the whole Island. It was surrounded by tropical gardens, mountains and beautiful sea,and amazingly every room had a magnificent views.

We stayed in a deluxe room which was immaculately clean and we couldn't believe how big the bathroom was. The Flamboyant hotel by far exceeded our expectations and our stay was made even better as we had views of Grand Anse Beach which was just breathtaking. There was plenty of staff around all the time and they were all extremely pleasant and helpful if you had any enquiries.

There was plenty to keep us entertained from a swimming pool, games room, beachside terrace restaurant, gym, late night sports bar and of course the beach. As well as this there was a spa, pedaloes, kayaks, snorkelling and organised entertainment on most evenings. There was a good dive shop attached to the hotel so we managed to lots of bits for when we went snorkelling. This resort had everything you could want from a package holiday tour to Grenada.

Just like the rest of the hotel, the food was great. Breakfast was served as a buffet which offered plenty of choice and was excellent value. The sports bar was great if you fancied something quick and easy like a burger, and the restaurant had a great selection of local food. As the entire property slopes down the restaurant and bar were practically located right on the sand of the beach which made for some excellent views.

The only downside to the Flamboyant Hotel was that you had to go up lots of steps to get to your room. However, there was a van available for people who don't feel like walking which took you up to your room and down to the restaurant and beach area. One other thing to remember if you're going on a package holiday tour to Grenada is that the pace of life is a lot slower than what we're used to in the UK. If you think you're getting bad service because the service is slow, it is unlikely that this is the case and it's more likely that this is just the Caribbean way of doing things.
